Frequently Asked Questions
Are Puffs made from recycled material?
No. Puffs tissues are made from virgin wood pulp.
Why can't I find my favorite Puffs box?
We offer different box designs in our Puffs lineup because consumer preferences vary. Stores choose which versions they want to carry, so you might want to mention your interest to the store manager. Keep in mind that our box designs are packed in mixed cases, and retailers are not able to order a case of one particular design. It's also possible the one you like is temporarily sold out or is only available during a particular season. Visit our Products section to see the designs we offer.
How can I contact Puffs with questions or comments?
Please visit the Contact Us page to pass along any questions or comments you have about Puffs. To speak with a consumer relations representative, call 1-800-777-8337 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
How can I get an MSDS sheet?
Tissues do not actually have an MSDS, because they are regarded as either "articles" or "cosmetics" under the Hazard Communication Guidelines of the federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration.

Most MSDS sheets for other brands in our company are now available online. To get started, visit our Corporate website. Your next step depends on whether you are using the consumer product or the professional product.

For the consumer product: First choose the category of products you want, and then click on the specific product you need.

For professional products: Scroll down to Professional Line, and then click on the product.

Please keep in mind that you must have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® 5.0 (or newer) on your computer to access our MSDS sheets. Adobe offers a free download at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/main.html. It's the last option in the column titled "What do you need to do?"

We hope this will make getting the MSDS you need quick and easy.

Where can I find Puffs To Go?
While we can't promise every store will have Puffs To Go, we hope you'll try national stores such as Walgreens, Kroger®, and CVS/pharmacy® in the United States, and Wal-Mart® in Canada. These stores purchase directly from P&G. Some stores stock Puffs To Go in the cosmetics section by travel-size items.
I need help with my school project; how is paper made?
We're delighted you want to learn more about Puffs! In general, our products are made of processed wood pulp from softwood (pine and spruce) and hardwood trees (eucalyptus, oak, and maple). Keep in mind that sometimes the specific information requested is either confidential or unavailable. Unfortunately, we don't have samples available to send. You can learn more about the papermaking process and the history of paper by visiting http://www.wipapercouncil.org/homepage.htm.
Why is there lint or fuzz on the Puffs tissue?
Lint is directly related to the degree of paper softness. The softer the paper, the more lint produced during the high-speed tissue-making process. We regularly shut down our manufacturing lines to clean our equipment and remove the lint buildup. And when humidity is very high, our lines are closed and cleaned as needed to prevent lint from dropping into our paper products.
Do you have samples for schools?
We currently don't have a school program for Puffs. For details about programs that may be available to schools, call Euro RSCG Impact at 1-800-281-0924 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. EST, Monday though Friday. A representative will be happy to explain the details of sampling programs that are available.
I have a question about colds and allergies. May I ask you?
We would love to answer your questions, but we’re not medical professionals. Puffs does have tips about colds, allergies, and even nose care for parents with toddlers. Check out our Seasonal Soothers for more information.
